I am short and ride small bikes so my knees do bump the Yepp mini, but we don’t ride far or fast on this bike so it’s annoying but bearable, I just have to stick my knees out. As above, I think on medium size frames upwards it wouldn’t be a problem.
Also yes the Yepp mini does limit bar rotation but again you get used to it. I think having the child seat at the front is definitely preferable to the back, until she gets too big - easier to get on and off, less wheelie prone, and more fun for the little one.
How do all you people using front mounted seats get on with knees bumping the seat / kid? I used to have a front Hamax on a Brother Big Bro but found it ruined my pedal stroke which wrecked my knees - was i just unlucky or are you all just putting up with it?
