  • "Looks heavy"

  • The current radishvest obsession with retro mountain bikes is quaint. At least you can claim vintage road bikes ride nice.

  • I agree

  • Vintage, retro...just fancy ways to say shite tyre clearance innit?

  • Yeah, still fun to underbike thought.

  • Yeah, I'm all for a bit of underbiking but sometimes you just wanna smash the descents, not rims.

  • Bit like riding CX bike with canti as a gravel bike, no?

  • There's a joke in there about shite brakes not slowing you down like a pinch flat does I'm sure.

  • Prolly needs to chill out.
    Takes himself too seriously.

  • Since he sold the radavist page it’s become a pretty boring advert feed presenting products they sell as product reviews or features etc, with the odd shit old bike thrown in to throw people off the scent.

  • Yesterday had to make an emergency tyre purchase on my ride, picked up a Terravail 700x42 cannonball.
I’m now wondering if it’s a bit too early in the year for this tyre and should have gone with Rutland?

  • Also Dorset has no gravel

  • Found these had a surprising amount of grip. Used them year round in Epping SFAB and mostly survived

Actually, a sad one, a long section of the landscape destroyed by 4x4 hobbyists who took off the top-soil between Soar-y-Mynydd Chapel and Tyncornel hostel.

  • Is that not grade that has been laid? looks more fun now anyway

  • Is that not grade that has been laid? looks more fun now anyway

I didn't really capture more than the start but it is completely unrideable for about 2/3 mile, very steep with a loose rocky gully that varies in width, there are some sections of grass path that remain but they are narrow and you risk a ~1.5m fall into the gully.

Sounding a bit negtive.. highly recomend the Elan Valley and area around the Devils Staircase for anyone wanting to live out some rough stuff collective cosplay.

  • Is anyone planning on doing the Traka in Girona at the end of the month?

  • Excellent fingers crossed they serve me well!

I know that area fairly well but I don't recognise that last pic, looks good - any hints on location? Cheers. Planning another road+tracks tour there this summer.

  • any hints on location?

Think it was on the one ridable route to Tyncornel hostel. It is the other side from the hostel to Soar-y-Mynydd Chapel that is destroyed and hike a bike. Will dm our rides.

  • Anyone got any routes for Crete? Particularly in the area between Rethymno and the south coast

  • Got one of these for sale

Will come with 2 blackburn anything cages and a FM to PM adapter

    hit me up.

  • Sorry for hijacking but would also be interested for all gravel/non-gravel tips for Crete esp around Chania.

  • Moving to live further away from the good gravel next week so stitched together a route of some trails and quiet dirt roads with some brewery stops last weekend, excellent day out.
