The one who did what was in the best interests of her team, fucked up her positioning and managed to salvage defeat from the jaws of victory. With the exception of crashing at the end of an unbelievably difficult race, she did nothing wrong.

Just need to steer clear of stray Welshmen -

Her tactics would have been perfect if she didn't stack it. But she did, so it was a complete fuck-up.

Sagan takes a dump in a ditch again and then fights a punter who takes a photo.
Shane Archbold takes 4th.
Laporte takes a flyer and wins. -

Laporte win is a good call.

When are they expected to get to Arenberg?

That's a bit harsh, she's just a young domestique and probably very nervous turning into that velodrome.

It did stand out. I seem to remember nodding to myself yesterday, thinking "mmm nicely done".

I was watching her doing the bulk of the organising and the pulling, with a fair contribution from the Polish rider, thinking "both of these two are gonna be fucking jumped any time now by SD Worx" even singing "I'm sorry Miss Jackson" to the delight of my missus who wonders how I know so much pop music when I only play gabber. I was half right, but then SD binned it and she came back over the top of the other fluoro wearer with a monster effort. Great race.

Nice sixpack! I hope you have taken them out by now to acclimatise and drink them at room temperature?

How can Jumbo Visma be called the best team so far this season and still leave Marianne Vos out on her own after a mechanical for over 50k, with two team mates up front not standing any chance in the final and not waiting for the one who did?

If I served them at room temp, they'd be like 21C in here (and that's before the sun has hit it). This front room gets warm during the day. It certainly isn't Belgian cellar temp. They're actually being carted over to a friend's place.

21 is too warm indeed. I was already wondering if you would down these on your own and still be able to (not double-)see the final ;-) Enjoy!

They're not into the cycling so like when I was riding every day what normally happens is I end up watching PR delayed. I could finish them all myself but sharing is caring. They put me onto De Garre and the big bottle is the BA De Garre that they've not had so it'd be rude to smash it myself. (I should be in the beer thread)

Carnage
Who’s got some bets on outside of MVDP and WVA? Ganna seems surprisingly short but I don’t watch pro-cycling like I used to. Put a fiver on Kristoff because I like wasting money and a bit more on van Baarle.
