It's a cunty way of doing it though, it's a shit attack ad, reeks of crappy local American politics things you normally only see on a John Oliver segment. They could say the same things better, communicate the same point without seeming like they're part of some shitty playground "your dad's a paedo" fighting, they're still ahead in any polls and there's not an election imminent, why stoop to this kind of shit now?

Of course such realism antagonises the left wing of the Labour party because they'd prefer Labour stuck to it's principles and we have another seven years of Tory government :P
(I do actually think that it's one thing 'going low' but Starmer has still to set out many positive reasons to vote Labour)
