Whatever works

I'm okay with a bit of dipping of toes in the but why go cannonballing in the deep end when it really doesn't seem necessary, it's not like the Tories are doing well at the moment, not even sure it's going to work if it puts off liberal Lefties and makes any swingers think they really are all the same, what's the point?
-

Fundamentally for me if it's OK for Tories to weaponise social media in order to discredit Labour, it's absolutely OK for Labour to fire back in kind, no matter how crass.
How has taking the higher moral ground worked out for Labour so far?

• #26880
You mean apart for consistently being 20 to 25 points ahead?
-
• #26881
And losing the last four elections?
-
• #26882
You don't have to @reply me, I can work out it's a reply from context. I'm highly trained in that.
You're welcome to your opinion. Labour will never tweet anything like that again though I would bet. -

I don't think that's ok either
How has taking the higher moral ground worked out for Labour so far?
Pretty badly, but why pick now, of all times, to start being megacunts? Maybe when they were doing badly to grab a few more votes for a win, but they're in their best position since Blair without doing that, so why change tack without necessity?

I'm really sorry mate, it must be awful for you, being replied to directly....
-
• #26885
from a criminal justice perspective that add is retarded and demonstrates only that whoever came up with it has no idea what they are talking about
-
• #26886
And from a decency perspective the use of the word retarded as a derogatory slur shows you have no place to be criticising anyone

-
• #26888
What do you mean?
-
• #26889
I think they were fucking clear.
-
• #26890
You explain then…what’s the use of the word regarded got to do with the merits of the advert I was commenting on?
-
• #26891
At least Spellchecker moderated your choice of word to 'regarded'. The use of one offensive term to denigrate another does you no favours.
-
• #26892
'Murican?
Doesn't excuse it mind -
• #26893
It doesn't, but people on here find use of the word retarded as a negative offensive. So they will call you out on using it.

• #26895
The trees are falling quite slowly. I would yell "Not today trees fuck you!" like Jeremy Renner.

Can't believe those spectators weren't wearing helmets. They deserve everything they get.

• #26897
having only just started using the reply button, and still sometimes not bc forgetful, I was under the impression it was the proper thing to do. When i have used it it isn’t bc i don’t think the person can’t work it out, it’s more me wanting to join in using the internet and all its special gizmos! not going to say who or what this is in reply to now, feel weird about it
-
• #26898
It's just Will that hates it.
-
• #26899
Plz keep using it. I mostly forget I posted anything.

Was it something I said?
It'd be nice if there were a few differences between them, like not being lowest denominator, sleezy, grafting, culture war stoking cunts. I'd rather they pointed out how fucking filthy, dirty the Tories are properly than dive head first into the same pit.
