£350 for carbon 650bs seems okay
They're £250 now, showing in stock. Would be tempted but don't want to introduce the hassle of a second wheel size into my life. Got enough half-used 700c tyres lying around the place as it is...

How bad can they be? But do I need a 3rd set of wheels for the Midnight Special?

In related news, there must be someone out there in need of new retro time trial wheels:

What’s not to like? ;) Imagine there’s a reason they haven’t been sold, yes.

I wonder if those cheap SRAM levers would work with the canti brakes on my CX bike?
-
• #5709
pretty sure they use short pull, they work with calipers and mechanical discs so should be fine I think

work with the canti brakes
Can you say oxymoron?
-
• #5711
Well I’ve ordered a set, so let’s wait and see 🤞

Planet X has their Naturehike Cloud Up-ish tent down to £44.99 with the code PXCAMP50
Pretty happy with mine, sturdy enough for the money!

They’ve also got down sleeping bags starting from £55 with the same code, and they’ve supposedly RDS certified (?)

Just ordered a highly discounted SRAM hydro brakeset from Planetx, this is what I received. :/ Looks like the seal wasn't well installed.

The seal it’s self might actually be fine. There’s a chance that some fluid spilled when the syringe was removed after bleeding.
Bleeding sram makes a right mess when removing the syringe. Wipe them down with ipa or soapy water, if no more fluid appears, you’ll be fine. -

Thanks, good to know! Unfortunately, the brake fluid leaks from the bladder (the seal is not flat) when I gently press the lever. Plus one of the bladder screws looks stripped. Going back to PX.

Got to be one of the best value all-round/gravel/whatever bikes under 1k at the moment, surely?

Jesus, I almost bought the ex display one at £200 more.

That’s crazy.

Just the frame and forks are not much cheaper

Might of been posted already but rivendell tyres such as ruffy tuffys and mile munchers are 50% off on planetx right now. Decent tyres for about 13 quid each, especially if you go through them quickly.

Not sure it's a bargain but the old Bike Park Wales uplift truck is up for sale

shame the 30mm mile munchers aren't in stock - they're great
https://www.paulsmith.com/uk/men-s-black-canvas-isamu-trainers
Relatedly they're not hideous and £29 for a pair of trainers isn't bad
