• Mercian Pro Lugless in what I suspect you would call Light Blue Pearl, or some such. Lovely light Blue with just a bit of a soft metallic sheen to it. Frame is in good condition for it's age. A few bubbles in the paint and scratches to the lacquer etc on the forks and frame, and a bit of loss to the Reynolds decals, that I've tried to photograph but look more or less the same condition as when I bought it at the start of the first lockdown so it shouldn't get worse if you look after it.
    Seat Tube 56cm c-to-c, top tube 57cm c-to-c.

I think the frame is 1989 or 1990, built from Reynolds 653 so pretty lightweight and responsive, a really nice ride even with it's current skinny 23 tyres. Unusual for a Mercian inn that it doesn't feel too trad and has lovely smooth fillet brazed joints instead of lugs. All in all a beautiful frame , I really don't want to sell it, but needs must. Just buy it quick so I don't change my mind.

Groupset is Campagnolo Centaur 10speed, the good one with Ultratorque bottom bracket set up ,with I think the long cage derailleur, (but could be the medium). The only exception is the front shifter which is Veloce. All polished to a sort of Campag satin sheen, all graphics removed for a classic VMB look.
    (
I ran it with a double chainring although its possible it would work with a triple too should you wish) Wheels are Campagnolo rims built on Veloce hubs, spin nicely just lost a bit of their shine on the hubs. Ridden all round London's shitty roads with no issues so pretty bombproof I'd say.

The saddle is Selle Italia Flite, seat post is Condor.
Brake pads almost new Koolstop Black/Salmon for whatever weather comes along.

Lovely bike that I really don't want to sell but I need to raise money for renovating our horrible mouldy bathroom. It did me proud as a posh commuter and winter bike (Frame will fit PDW full metal fenders with eyelets on the QR on 23 tyres.). I gave it a clean and rub down today as I haven't used it for 3 months, the polished parts weren't lacquered, just waxed so not quite as satin smooth as they were but given an hour with the Autosol and a buffing cloth, stick on some tan walls and maybe fresh bar tape and it should look the business again,(it's really not looking too shabby now)

Looking f0r £800 for the full bike. Will entertain non-silly offers.
