@Thrasher how long have you got? The slow but picturesque way from Inverness to Dunoon goes out to the west coast, onto Skye then down through Oban, hooking up with NCN 78 south of Fort William. A bunch of ferries involved, but avoids both Great Glen and Loch Lomond.
