That’s interesting since sram have a global warranty policy.
Literally all my sram axs bits have been bought from outside the uk, have had two parts warrantied via sram uk no questions asked. Is it more likely the uk retailer you tried refused to have anything to do with it since you didn’t buy it from them?
If you have a lbs who you’re on good terms with, you just need them to get you a return number and at least offer to pay postage and maybe bring them a few beers.
Admittedly I have a friend in a bike shop who’s sorted it for me and I’ve dished out beers as a thank you.epoaholic, no doubt knows all this, getting warranty sorted won’t be any problem at all when you have the receipt no matter what country you’re in.
@epoaholic soz to derail thread, it’s a good price with full warranty!
Have a free bump :)
follow + popcorn.
Recently had trouble getting my 'overseas' Force FD replaced in the UK, had to send it back to the country I purchased it from to get the warranty. (It's been replaced but still there at my sister's, as chose to quickly get a Rival FD instead of waiting for months with 1x)
