Pressed this back into service shortly after new year. The roads round here have been absolutely trashed from the ice in the cold snaps and I was struggling to navigate my track bike safely round the holes. The big tyres on this mostly eliminate that as a problem and just bash over everything without breaking a sweat.
One thing I do need to deal with is the back brake, which is howling so loud it’s making cars hit their brakes. I re-set the brake pads at lunchtime with as much toe in as I could realistically get on them, but it’s still making way too much noise. I reckon a new set of linings ought to do the trick, once I’ve worked out which ones fit the holders.
