  • That level of destruction is insane. The trees mostly vanished.

  • We drove across the path of the tornado that destroyed Rolling Fork a few days after it went through. We were driving the interstate and it looked like massive bulldozers had just driven across the fields and across the road. Trees were just laying flat in the field and some of those that lined the road were snapped about 15 feet up the trunk, there was no sign of the canopy.
    The destruction was no more than around 200 metres wide each side the trees and fields looked untouched.
