Oris? The last picture is the one they are still making now, but it's too small for my taste (25x30).

Not sure I understand, Swiss, heritage, in-house movement, what am I missing. Been looking at these Hamptons a while.

That would be this, but you're probably not getting a mechanical watch in that style for £170.

This Hamilton is about half the price of the Oris, but I think the Oris looks a lot nicer.

£280 from Bulova? Could you be tempted by a Tonneau?

Did you see the fake Cartier sapphire copy on the crown?

Nice one with the Hamilton that was a bit of a bargain. I very nearly got one myself but I'm working on something else
Your mention Bulova just reminded me of a cheaper option to the Khaki field:

I was going to ask if i was missing something with Baume and Mercier. I've been really tempted by the Clifton Baumatic especially as CWS/Jura have them on sale at the moment. All reviews say great movements and impressive finish for the money and that's at full rrp. If you like the way the look they sound like very good watches yet the brand still gets no love. @ejay2.0
Did you post the Cliftons when they were launched? A good buy for 2k? -

I really liked the Clifton, worth £2k of anyones money.

Nice, it was the line design that I thought I recognised.

I have the classic g shock square with 6 band radio timing and solar. Is there a round case version (analogue or digital) that has the same features but is around the same size? Was looking at the gw6900 but suspect that may be too large.

Popped into tudor this morning. Tried on the pelagos 39, BB54 and BB58. They're all great and I'd be ecstatic with any of them.
The faux rivets on the BB54/BB58 let it down but you wouldn't really see these. It is stunning. Pelagos 39 is great, but the hands and markers on it don't look as good imo

Late reply but the bracelet is feels light and pretty rattly but decently finished, hollow end links which I wasn't keen on but now that I have it it's not the worse for it. I wouldn't let it put you off.
The distinction between this version of date+day and the old version is the newer version has 18k centre links vs plated with the old version, which you would see perishing on examples of the old version. 76213 yes. I like the black dial too, the gold dial is a bit much for me but I got a deal.

Oh I liked those, it’s quite thick compare to the khaki mechanical

Bezel on the 54 really does transform the whole BB aesthetic. Makes the whole thing look so much better imo
