That kind of doesn't matter. How much will a replacement cost you today? You can get a brand new Smeg oven for £300-1000. How fancy do you want yours to be?
Can you see which parts you need? Might be able to find cheaper non-official Smeg parts online if it looks like a DIY job? I've replaced fans and elements in ovens before but never a PCB so not sure how scary a job that would be for a DIYer.
A pot boiler over and water got into our fan oven, i can see the burnt out clock/pcb, £100 smeg repair callout quoted us £300 in parts to fix.
Whats the opinion, spend another 300 because we’ve sunk 100 already?
We have no warranty even though its less than 5 years old because purchased by previous owners.
From what we can tell it was less than £500 new.
