I’ve got a Lifeline softbag for sale. £35 takes it. It’s nothing fancy literally just a padded bag. Bit of a ballache to lug around but it survived a couple trips to Berlin and one to Milan with my track bike+ race wheels.

I forgot to say but. If you don’t want to spend money. Ask your LBS for an empty cardboard bike box and use that. Just when you’re packing your bike remove your wheels. I took my forks out and wrapped them in bubble wrap/ that flexible foam padding and put the handlebars to the side. I also put my cycling clothes and tools etc in the same box as “padding” works a treat. Just use lots of fragile tape and pack extra + bubble wrap for the return journey.
