If you don't find a decent one, I have a rough one that needs jockey wheels and a polish.

So it's Wednesday and it is the first day I am not hung over. I have completely lost the ability to have fun two days in a row.
Thaanks to everyone who came by or who have shown support online. It means everything. This weekend really gave me the confidence and push I need to start pursuing this as a career path.
Yesterday I learned that my PhD dream isn't happening. This news was both harsh and liberating at the same time. The good thing about it is that I can mentally park academia from July 1 and focus on being me and do bike stuff. So the timing of and reception at Kolektif couldn't have been better.Anyways, besides being my favourite bag maker @tijmen also ended up showing himself as the most lovable and hospitable guy in the world. He truly made me and @JesperXT feel at home in Leipzig. Internet dating at its best.
Jesper also needs a mention here because he drove me back and forth between Denmark and Germany and helped sort all sorts of things during the weekend. Always a pleasure travelling with my wingman.
Bags and bikes had great attention even with an below average exhibition space with sub par lighting. I think all three of us felt that a center stage spot with gravel diorama and more adventure content is next for us. I definitely want to invest more in the next show and use my architecture background a bit more.. while it still being fun obviously.
Anyways, I am going to be spending the next months coming up with a business plan, build a website and stuff like that.

sorry to hear about the phd, but excited to see you step into bike and parts making full time.
if you're creating work as fine as what's in this thread with the distractions of a full time job, i am highly anticipating what comes when you're free to dedicate more attention to it.

Awesome! Great work!
Just wondering if these brakes are not too powerful for a kid? I mean with the risk of flipping over the bars? -
