• I got a medium LS and it was a bit too tight / making me look bit pop-eye in the arms/shoulder. The L fits well other than bit long on the arms, but as YAL said you can roll them up -- they are also so soft its quite crazy.

  • Would agree, the LS jerseys are a touch long and I roll them up. Also don't notice once done.
The SS is thinner but equally nice. But not as warm.
The elasticity of the LS is lower than the SS, and find it's looser on the upper arms. Not a big deal. Guess it's due to the thicker more fleecy material.

Likewise the bibs are long, but does mean I can no longer get on with others. They are perfect. Likewise the bib tights. If they are clean I'll be wearing either for the next ride.

I found the right size insulated jacket didn't have enough freedom. Where as the gilet has stretchy side panels.

  • You bought me one! and I'm forever grateful xx

  • The lightweights are on the website now, want!

  • Youramericanlover has been low-tier chopper who has been posting on LFGSS since 2011. He divides his time between his family, talking about riding fixed, and riding fixed (70/20/10).

Can’t believe this has survived without an edit ;-)

  • Fine! Updated. But now you have to update yours so my shit grammar isn't memorialised

  • Need to see the new jackets in person I think, the photos of the green one have it looking quite plasticky under studio lights. Dark blue ones still to come?

  • It was a rear derailleur burn not a grammar one…

  • How does one decide if they’ve lost their burner or just put it somewhere safe!?!

  • Those light fabrics look glossy under bright lights, and moreso in darker tones - I really like the olive though. It's weird in a good way; rich and golden under yellow light, and an almost flat grey under other lights.

...I see what I called blue upthread is now labelled as black on the site. In the images it's a very dark gunmetal/steel blue against the black zipper, and this shows up more under brighter lights, so personally I'd still call it (very) dark blue. Hope there's something for everyone, just a shame we couldn't stretch to all three colours in the womens version.

If anyone missed on previous page, Condor will have them v soon and Archive Works in Copthorne (Sussex), if you wanted to take a look - or always welcome to drop into studio in Deptford SE8, but we don't keep stock + check we have the colour/style first :)

  • Thanks for the insights Graeme! I trust your judgement on the colours. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is the fit the same as the full-fat Zoa Insulated wrt sizing?

  • Have your photographer fit a polariser filter and this should cut out the reflective colours. Hope this helps and i look forward to seeing all the new stuff @CondorCycles .

  • Cheers @pacef8 nice one, will do. Appreciate your thoughts when you get to see them, especially colour (although I think the lighting in Condor is quite cool and can knock back some tones).

  • I will stand in the window like a dummy 🤫

  • @Chopsicle on the website bags section, the header pic is a bag that isn't listed underneath. Is that a discontinued lightweight musette?

  • is the fit the same as the full-fat Zoa Insulated wrt sizing?

Anyone got a view on this? Really tempted to pick one up after the main zoa was toooo warm for me.

  • It is the lightweight mussette

  • @King_Saxlingham Yes, same sizing/fit between the two Zoa insulated jackets. The sleeves on the new jacket are are pitched forward/on-bike slightly more, to acknowledge the fact it will be used 0n-road more frequently, but it's not really discernible. Both v comfy on/off bike, and with swept/upright or drop bars.

@sacredhart currently waiting for restock but not for a while. What were you after? DM me if you need one urgent, but otherwise stick with me, I'm hatching a plan.

  • Just came across this Patagonia jacket which is also made from Pertex Quantum, although it's listed as 300g so not an ultralight packable. Looks quite cool, not sure it's available in Europe though... https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-steel-forge-windbreaker-work-jacket/192964375727.html

  • @Chopsicle Any idea when the Zoa Insulated Jacket (Blue) in XL or possibly XXL will come back into stock?

  • Hmmmm not sure, but I can find out next week for you. In the meantime Condor have a blue XL in stock;

  • Any update on the ultralight jackets?

  • @SteadyCam sorry for delay; I’ve got both an XL & XXL in blue at the studio (Deptford) if you’re still interested.

@Bossman launching this Wednesday - possibility the page will be up sooner

New rainjacket with zip detail launching this Wednesday also. Hopefully putting the one/two puller discussion to bed…
