Anyone know if I can use any other brand's chainrings on P2M gravel cranks?
https://powermetercity.com/product/power2max-2x-gravel-chainring/
https://power2max.cc/products/gravel-power2max-2x-chainrings-replacement
Mine are 46/30, 104bcd and Made in Taiwan, so I presume there's some non-branded or OEM options that would also work. I guess looking for 104 bcd rings is where I start.

With the right bolt pattern.

Rotor maybe?

Quite. That's what I'm trying to find out - which other chainring sets will work on these Rotor/P2M cranks.

I recently brought a used Stages L Hollogram crank. It seemed fine for two months, up until this week where my average power over 60km was 1000 watts!
I reset the calibration using my Garmin and it said it was successful. However, now it just says Zer0 power and spikes of up to 1600w.
Is this a known problem or a bit unique to me?
Do I need to take this matter to customer care?

Anyone had an issue with a 4iiii single crank powermeter not being able to calibrate? I can connect to the device on my wahoo, but the numbers it gives are way lower than reality (by c200w). The 4iiii app won't connect. When I try to calibrate it comes up with a failure message. Change of battery hasn't made a difference. No crash damage or water ingress as far as I know/can tell

I've had this once or twice, but in my Edge 810. Bad calibration, then disappears. Have to turn off power meter detection and then back on again, find the unit then Calibrate again.
4iiii app is garbage, don't bother. -

I had this, and ended up having to send back to 4iiii for a replacement unit. They did me a decent discount as it wasn't too far out of warranty

Thanks. Was bought in Dec-20 so within the 3 year warranty. Have emailed 4iiii support to see what they say - will share the results here

You might want to try putting the battery in backwards for a sec, on the off chance it helps. Sounds ridiculous I know but there are a few google results saying 4iiii asked them to try this and it apparently working (not neccessarily this specific issue though)..

It's also worth doing that for the simple reason that a lot of people put watch batteries in the wrong way. :)

This is exactly the step that has sorted out my 4iiii Precision, which also would not calibrate. There wasn't any sign of water ingress, but the seal had split, so I'm guessing that's what caused the issue originally.

Any hoarders want any old Powertap stuff? I guess no one is using LYCs or PowerAgent these days.
Would be nice to resuse them but I fear they're just electronics recycling nowadays.

Still trying to get my faulty 4iiii powermeter sorted. 4iiii themselves were very responsive, and after a couple of emails with a few recommendations of things I could try, they have confirmed that I need to return the product under a warranty claim.
However, because the product was bought via a 3rd party retailer, I need to go via them to execute the return. Sadly this retailer is Probikekit and their shower of a "customer service" dept. I'm sure that the announcement by THG that they are shuttering PBK hasn't helped, but after 2 weeks of emails to PBK they still haven't been able to arrange a courier to collect the item (and won't accept me sending it to them directly). The whole thing has descended to farce so I've contacted 4iiii to see if I can rather deal with them directly.

I need new chainrings.
5 bolt 110 bcd 48 / 38 so it all works nicely on my quarq dzero power meter.
I have shimano 11 speed chain and cassette.Where/who/how much?
I cobbled two chain rings together in a mix and match fashion and it’s had predictably unpredictable shifting. -

That's an odd pairing, why not 50/34 or any other commercially available pair?
-

Praxis makes decent looking ones with shift ramps.

It’s my old cyclocross bike which was 1x11 (38 and then 42 11-30). I decided to go 2x11 and try and do “all road 4 seasons”. So decided 48/38 or 46/36 would work. It has so far in everything I’ve done.

46/36 shouldn't be too hard to find

TIL - if the 4iiii firmware update does not like being cancelled. Doing so turns the pm into a paperweight until you sort the update, which is hard to do when the 4iiii app is fucking shiiiite.
Didn't have time to sort it this morning before my ride so had no power readings. Worked out well - felt pretty strong throughout.

Where do you all buy your cleats for your assiomas? I cant find favero (xpedo?) or regular Look keo cleats at most places. They all end up being a place shipping from EU (despite .co.uk domain), and the usual suspects (sigma, wiggle..etc) only carry the keo grip version. Reading up on it its not advised to use that with assiomas.
So, red look keo cleats: love 'em or hate 'em, but where to easily find 'em?
-

red look keo cleats
I might have some either Look or Exustar clone Keo cleats in the parts bin, I'll have a look when I get home
-
• #10224
i'm using keo grip and i hadn't realised it was a no-no.
they work fine although i had noticed that they don't clip in quite as easily as the ones that came with the pedals. i guess i know why now.

From what I remember the comments were along the lines of "dont be surprised that the pedals wont have the same feel riding, and wont be as crisp to clip in-out". If it works for you, dont let me stop you! I'm just picky about it.
@gbj_tester thanks, appreciate it! Let me know if you found anything.
Ha, where do I buy a set? :)
