Sure is. So good. Bracelets are just exceptional. First Tank Normale since the early 80s.

Yep I would second this.

JLC Reversos are quite nice.

What sort of budget?
Longines do some lovely ladies autos , and then of course omega constellation in a mind boggling array of sizes and all sorts of prices.
Our website is your friend on that. -

Very lovely.
And that bracelet is impossible to get off too. -

My 2p.
That looks great!
Not too small at all.
I understand the watch bizniz is about status, that's why a smaller one stands out. -

Still the same dimensions as before, which means it’s around 30mm thick 😵💫

I guess unless you are Rupert Murdoch you don’t get too many 25th anniversary’s so budget probably less of a criteria than finding something she really likes and would wear at least semi regularly (and it was a hard ‘no’ to Cartier and JLC Reverso when I oh so casually showed her some photos).
A link to your website would be handy

Yeah way too chunky for me still if it were 13mm I'd have my name down already

With so much interest in the new releases from Rolex and Tudor these two from Baume and Mercier will probably go unnoticed. I really like them both especially the black baumatic which is only 10.7mm thick as well. CWS/Jura have most of the Cliftons and a few Rivieras heavily discounted at the moment which are making me wobble

Which way do her tastes lean? Classic, casual, lux, sporty, minimal…?

Just catching up on stuff but just wanted to say that that is an absolutely beautiful watch and a really nice gesture to pass it on to your sis :)
@regal - congrats on the 39 Pelly, absolute belter. I quite like that OP though...
@Howard that Paulin is a vibe. Love it! And @Ecobeard that Smith is an absolute banger.
@Soul there's deffo some skinnier Black Bay models around - the original ETAs were only 12.7 mm thick, and the 58's are under 12mm. Think it was mainly the inhouse movement that chunked them up a bit but looks like Tudor have managed to slim their mech down now - aren't most of their new releases (ignore the complications) less than 12mm now?

Exciting stuff from Tudor, was waiting for an in-house movement in the BB36. Had a browse online anyone know why the BB36 is priced at £3200 and a separate one at £3900 but both seem to house the new movement? Nice watch - price is a bit bonkers though
Also would love to see the BB54 in person, unsure how I feel about the bezel lacking the minute markers - it kind of tied it together. Now theres a gilt dial but a contrast monochrome bezel insert, looks a bit like you damaged it and got a cheap replacement bezel put on.

To be fair, the last one I tried on was the Pepsi GMT which was a fucking slab. It's been a while since I tried on any others - they're not really my bag anyway.
Thinner is always better though if they're heading in that direction.

The price difference is for the ones with diamonds on the dial.

I think there are some nice smaller Nomos:

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer has a few smaller models in some quite nice colours, quartz and auto:
A former colleague of mine had a white dial quartz one and she really loved it.
There's also the new Tudor BB31:

A smaller Rolex Oyster Perpetual like the 31 might also be easier to get hold of than some of the other models, though it depends on the dial - the brightly coloured ones are still in high demand.

So obvious now you’ve said it 😂

Walked into a local shop here last Saturday asking if they had a specific reference for sale that I was keen on seeing in real life and trying on the wrist.
To my surprise, they actually did.
Dimensions worked out really well for my wrist but I realized immediately the bracelet felt like a step back from what I’m used to. Mostly related to the clasp closure and the lack of microadjust, which I use very often in summer.
With the amount of money I’d be spending it would have to be an upgrade instead of a downgrade and therefore decided to pass.

They also carried a GMT master II in stock which I never really considered before. This one however was absolutely stunning with the all black bezel. I’ve never been a fan of bi-color bezels on the GMT’s, no matter the version.
Fair to say that I now know what my next watch will be, I’ll need to increase the budget a bit to obtain this one but it ticks all my boxes.

Basically anything from Cartier.
