  • Wow, stunning! I literally laughed out loud when I saw that. Added to my lottery win list :)

  • Want. Right click open image in new tab for full size.

  • I actually quite like the OP coloured bubbles release.

But then generally I dislike the OP on aesthetic grounds and any "funky" dial variant still has those hands obscuring it :'-(

  • I really like the OP hands…

  • Hey, if it's the sort of thing you like, it's the sort of thing you'll like. No judgement.

  • It's a personal thing!

  • It really isn't! In the videos they put out it looked double take thin to me. Agree on the rivets still.

  • I’d be happy to be wrong. All BB to date have been horribly thick.

  • Just saw b&j vid saying its a mil thinner or something

  • You think the BB58 is 'horribly thick'? Even I, who has small wrists and hates slabs, thought it was really, really reasonable.

  • yeah dead niiiiiiiice

  • The BB54 is lovely...

Extremely first world topic. I got a really nice 30.5 mm speedking 6430 for my 21st which my dad got for his 21st and could never wear due to size. Posted about it a few years back. Box and papers from the 70s too. I wear it maybe 4x a year max and going to give it to my sister who it looks much better on. Kind of gutted as I now won't have a nice watch and can't afford what I'd like which is a 36mm explorer.. but I know she will get more use out of it.

    The BB54 may replace it.

  • Fair enough, 30,5 is too small

  • Check out the updated BB36 too. A bit more Explorer-ish than the 54 maybe.

I saw a silver dial 36 on someone’s wrist a few months back and honestly it looked like an Oyster Perpetual at first.

  • current thoughts of its replacement:

    vintage tudor, 36mm ish
    BB58 blue
    BB54
    34mm air king, like a 14010m
    pelagos 39

100%, it was incredibly wearable, with a MN strap, it pretty much disappear on your wrist.

    The 41mm was very slabby.

  • @regal when did that happen?
Tried the one before, with the sticky out crown, and it wasn't convincing.

  • Just saw that vid as well and i love that white dial pepsi gmt. Why did they not do this sooner? as this one is only a new dial rather than a new model

  • That's the brand new one - I saw the previous version which had more of an Oyster style bracelet and a more silver dial (not so champagne). Blue seems like it might be the nicest of the new ones. They do seem to be more Datejust-y now with the jubilee style bracelet. Be a shame if they stopped offering them on a brushed Oyster.

I guess there will still be some selling through at retailers for a while, and they'll definitely be cheaper than the new ones.

  • @regal when did that happen?

The sighting or the update to the watches? Update happened today, it's the first day of the big Geneva watch show.

  • Ahh. Thought I was way behind, phew.
That one above is what I tried. Felt a bit chubby.
Not that into the new bracelet unfortunately.

  • Any suggestions/recommendations for a 25th wedding anniversary watch for someone very petite?
