there are 3 of the aloe "babies" living in the pot of the ficus.

also yea it probably would enjoy a bit more light but I think that spot is just fine.
it just got really big (tall) so it doesn't get much light from above any more.
it's a survivor, for sure.
i had an aloe aristata that i rescued from a compost heap when I was 8, it lived happily for another 15 years or so but then my mum over watered it whilst it was in her care. i was kind of devastated but my sister convinced me that all the baby aloes we had propagated from it over the years meant that it was still with us.
so i have a ridiculous sentimentality about house plants.
