Thanks. Not a lot of stock around it seems but will keep my eye out.

I saw some in Merlin bikes. I can't bring myself to buy them due to the price though. I buy cheap pads but I do clean my rims and inspect the pads before they wear out.

They really are worth it though. Kool stops are basically that one thing that I always get on all my bikes now, really can't go back to cheap pads once you try them.

Yeah agreed. They even make less of a mess than cheap pads

I finished my project... it rides surprisingly well. Only bits I needed to buy were a new seat post and a quill stem adapter (which is rather ugly tbh), rest was parts bin stuff... all in all I'm pleased with it.

Found this dumped in the woods and smartened it up a bit. It’ll get a basket and swept bars in due course but thought I’d bang it here for a bit.

Put a set of Paul levers on my Cinelli today, and mocked up my Kestrel, ended up using some road control tech parts and a high rise set of bars so it’s more comfortable. Looking forward to finishing it and taking it to the woods next week.

Solid build. I don't think the ahead converter looks ugly at all. You have repurposed a modern product into your build. Why not! I bet it's more comfortable too!

Was having trouble finding a 5-bolt 94BCD chainring - I can't afford Stridsland and didn't want to go with the Atelier Medium knockoffs.
Managed to find this after some Googling - https://pq-bike.com/collections/94bcd/products/pass-quest-110-bcd-5-bolt-oval-narrow-wide-chainring-%E7%9A%84%E5%89%AF%E6%9C%AC
Doesn't seem like a scam (has AliExpress and Tabao stores) plus I paid with PayPal just to be sure. It's been shipped, will see what's what.

Try bikepunx.com
They helped me out and might still have some stock of exactly that, 94bcd 5-bolt, in a couple of different tooth flavours. I think about £25

Thanks man, but I already bought the one I linked! I've bookmarked bikepunx though, will tap them up if this never arrives 👍

Think Atelier Medium is more expensive than Stridsland anyway? 55€ plus postage, Stridsland £34 plus postage n tax
-
• #3845
Shit really?! I thought Stridsland chainrings were close to £90, not £35
:(
What the hell currency translation did I do!?

seems like they're around 60€?
-
• #3847
They are around 73 to be precise

Ah, they show up as 440 DKK for me - probably because the shop doesn't add VAT for me as I'm in Switzerland
-
• #3849
When i look it says 440 Kr. not 440 DKK!
