So I bought a 1000w Panasonic inverter and grill microwave. I’m not convinced that it’s very good/working correctly.
Lots of popping noises, splatting everywhere. Even when it’s covered. Soup in a plastic tub gets to magma level temperature in the top inch, but cold at the bottom after 1min.
We have a similar wattage microwave at work, I would happily put soup in for 3/4 mins then stir, but I feel like I have to watch everything that’s cooking in this one which kind of defeats the point of microwaving stuff.
Am I just shit at microwaves or is this not normal?
I checked and you can set power to 1000W but next power below that is 600W which is quite a jump.
