Nice, thanks!
How are the gaps around the edges filled? Slivers of plasterboard/mesh?

Anyone got a recommendation for a standing seam /metal roof installer in the South London area? Loft conversion is starting and that aspect has been provisional sum, the main contractor is happy for me to have a look for people direct.

Any Vitsoe shelving alternatives? Their width options leave too much of a gap either side of my nook. This bugs me aesthetically .

Kitchen's finally done other than the splashback/tiling.
White square tiles with a dark grout is the right thing to do here isn't it?

Glass with the underside painted the same colour as the walls might be nice.

That looks brilliant you must be pleased!

You could go for something large format and probably only need one given the height between worktop and cupboards?
I think the more neutral the better in that kitchen, so matt white square tiles with light grout

Worth pointing out that practically speaking tiles, or more to the point - grout, is a fairly shit choice behind a hob for cleaning.
What about stainless to match the appliances and handles?

Matt glass!

And another opinion:
Same as work surface?
If you go for tiles I would go for vertical ones. -

Stainless or glass behind the hob and an upstand on the rest IMO.
I wouldn’t be able to work out where to finish the tiling with the different lengths of the top/bottom units and socket placement.

Got to be this.

I wouldn’t be able to work out where to finish the tiling with the different lengths of the top/bottom units and socket placement.
This is very much the challenge.
If you’re determined to tile up to the bottom of the wall units I’d shift the offending socket to the right, to the centre of the wine rack.
But the upstand idea feels neater to me. I’d do the hob splash back in worktop material too tho, keeps it simple.

Stainless behind the hob all the way to the extractor filling the space and then upstand to match the worktop everywhere else.

I thought so too. Acid etched I guess, and the special white glass not the green one. Needs to be toughened too.

Looks lovely. If it hasn't already been asked, what flooring is that?

What’s the ceiling height in here? Looks lower than I’d expected for a Victorian (?) property.

Thanks - yes very happy with it.
Thanks everyone else for the suggestions - all good food for thought. I've got such bad decision fatigue from the whole project, I've pretty much ran out of steam on the walls/splashback.
Will go to some shops and have a look. SS behind the hob was vetoed by my partner as apparently it looks like a public toilet (assuming an NZ one as that hadn't occurred to me), white surface-type material could be a goer though. We'll see.

It looks beautiful. Also very impressed with how quickly this has all happened. It's been two years since my toilet started leaking and I still haven't replaced it.
