  • From a well know consumer website....

    Budget = Beko DIS16R10
    Integrated = Bosch SMV6ZCX01G
    On here Integrated = Miele G5260 SC
    On here Freestanding = Miele G 5223 SC
    Energy efficient = Bosch SMS4HCW40G
    Slimline = Bosch SPS4HMW53G

  • I'm not sure how recent that Which review is but my aunt bought a Beko dishawasher which came #1 budget option and it lasted her 5-6years until she re-did her kitchen. Was still working. Think servicing/parts is the only downside for those vs say a Bosch

  • It's 2023. Cheers for the feedback.

    There is also the Samsung DW60M6070IB that looks good and is at a better price point for us.

    That's a good point on servicing, although as below servicing comes at a cost...

    I had a feel of the lower seal and can feel that it's cracked, so think that is properly it.

    However, a cursory look says Miele seals are ~£75. So if I did the main seal as well that's £150 on what I guess is a 20yo(?) dishwasher (Miele Model G 638 PLUS).

    After writing that ^ I can't help but thing a 2nd hand Miele is probably the best VFM option.

  • I've also got a which best buy Beko.

    The annoying thing is the mechanism for the trays - bottom one often drops when rolled in / out.

    Otherwise plus sides are it's very quiet and cleaning is good.

    Reading above I didn't consider this but being quiet the projection thing would be useful to be able to tell when it's finished.

    Would recommend with hesitation if you're on a tight budget / not that arsed about minor niggles but you can probably find better.
