I've got two MTB cassettes that only skip in the two bigger alu rings, presumably because the alu wore faster than the steel cogs. Figured all-steel would last longer.
Sunrace does 11-46 all steel if you want something cheap and available. I got an XT one and the alloy cogs aren't lasting very well, also massive jumps in the easy gears, you end using only the alloy cogs for climbing at an easy pace.
Do you genuinely need a steel largest? I presume your (much smaller) chainrings are alloy with no problems?
