Well..

first of all, the petito frame is gone since two weeks or so. Secondly, I had made the down payment for the above one in October or November already. It was just in transfer since then…

The petito was of course OG but paint was a 6/10 maybe, it was slightly dented, too large for me, so nothing I would ever build up.

I had to buy it #tho because the team cranks and BB were attached to it ;-)

Also, I had a caad 3 built up as you know and I like the caad 4 with its white logo and the coke bottle seat stays much better.

Plus the team fork with all the decals for me is the icing on the cake together with the ibiza tattoo DT decal

You mean the CAAD7 R3000?

Well that was a scam basically: Some mf from italy advertised it „as new“ and when it arrived it was dented, one seat stay was bent plus it had bad corrosion spots.

It looked good on DS photos but that was basically it.

At least managed to avoid a loss by selling it in parts 🤮

Current cave status

On the floor: only #purposebikes

On the wall: Unneccessary projects

After a long time in an intermediate status, things are feeling like they have been consolidating recently

One little surprise is still in transit but basically what you see is all I need (for 2023 at least)

• will take some proper pics of the finished mtb (what you cannot see is that I need to service the hubs)

• build a (mostly) OG saeco in viper red (need to refurbish the spinergys a bit)

• build an MGOOF saeco USA (need to find an 11 speed (super) record groupset still)

• wait for the little surprise to arrive

• okay theres actually two 🥶

But its german domestic ebay classifieds, not the usual ebay. Three of the four saecos appeared within 4 months last year (after searching for several years ofc)

Managed to shoot a few photos of the finished M800.

This little thing turned out totally lovely and from the 100m I rode it so far its just super fun and playful.

I think even without trying too hard, I managed to keep it period correct except for the tyres and the n/w chainring 😌

Hightlight for me is still the easton cockpit, but I also love all the battlescars and even the corrosion spots and the chipped chainstay
