• Uplift or ride up?

    I run 140/130 on a canyon neuron and like it. I think most full Sus modern bikes from the big brands are good. For me it suits as I ride it, but making it better down would compramise the up and I ride up.

    Way I read it you are on full sus as fatigue is a big factor in off road long distance.
    I basically want a spring that pushes me out of berms etc so guess moderate trail bike is a good idea.

  • No my trail full sus is for just fun around home. I ride rocky staircase footpaths and unkept trails.

    I think whatever you get, you'll learn with it and want to modify it, that's me anyway. So maybe cheeper then you can punt on or modify, as you decide the geo is wrong etc. That said, it's a lot about suspension setup, tuning and tyres. Depends if you want to get deep into it or just have a bit of fun.
