Rigby on Sky is reporting that up to 34 tories have voted against the NI deal so it'll only get through on Labour votes. lolz

He swore to "tell the truth and nothing but the truth" on a bible at the start of the session and said he "hand on heart, did not lie to the house"
Sorted then.

only get through on Labour vote
I read when the bill was first released that that would be the end of Sunak if that happened. It's certainly not a good look for him, but is it likely that serious?
-
• #3734
No it just looks bad, adds to the tory infighting, but the results are in and it does look that bad, I guess only 12/15 voted against
-
• #3735
Good of Boris to remind us all that Rishi got a fine too.

Harman's neck chain would have rocked any early 90s rap album cover.

Verbatim from Alexander:
"Why I believed, when I stop up on Dec 1, what picture I had in my head and why that doesn't conflict with that picture, I knew from my direct and personal experience that we were doing a huge amount to stop the spread of covid in the building."
Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?

He's full on rattled now. It's excellent TV

His whole argument seems to be it was ok because it was essential that they have a leaving do because they were all working very hard.

It appears that essential workplace gatherings include breaking a child’s swing, shagging a colleague in a cupboard and getting so hammered that you vomit up the wall.
I don’t think I’ve achieved any of those at non-work related parties (not for want of trying, as others will doubtless attest), but I think my odds would be significantly improved if I worked at No 10.
Is this what they mean by the politics of envy?

• #3744
Just bumbling along. I hope there are seeds being laid for evidence of incompetence or even a few smoking guns, but imagine it will continue much like this throughout.

Assume they can't ask about the parties (deliberately) not investigated by the Met - Abba party etc?
Or they could, but his counsel would just advise him to call it heresay?

breaking a child’s swing
I once got stuck in a Little Tikes car and the roof had to be cut off to get me out - am I qualified to run the country now?
-
• #3747
As much as anyone currently is, I would say so
-
• #3748
The questions suck, one guy sounded like he was going to fall asleep while talking
-
• #3749
Boris is just gently waffling until the questioner (and viewer) loses interest and forgets the question.
It’s a master class.

Yep, you do see what a cunt he is when he's pressed don't you.
He was saved by the (division) bell(s) but he's not enjoying this.
But I did my own research!
