I'll check what the one I bought for my dad cost and if its available now, but iirc it was a similar price and aok.
Ultimately it's a massive Ti tube. As long as the dia is correct it'll be fine.
His had a normal clamp rather than the bso one Brompton favour and it wasn't flared. I never had an issue with the lack of flare - partly because it's not rocket science to not pull it all the way out, and because lately I added a bit of tape at the correct height for my dad to make getting the hight right easier.
