I just picked up a bottle of the Port Charlotte 10, more to my liking than the previous Uigeadail, at almost twice the price of the PC10!

Had a sample of (and still have a bottle of) the Lindores new-make spirit which they were selling three or four years ago, presumably in a bid to help cashflow. I remember it being very pleasant and remarkably civilised for a spirit that was so young, so I guess it'll be interesting to see what sort of character it's taken on from time in barrel

Was in Tokyo last weekend and had a glass of Akkeshi Seimai which blew me away. They make a bottle for each of the 24 sekki seasons and this one happened to coincide with our visit so I picked it. Best drink I've had.
Didn't have time to try and find a retailer, but just as well given how much it seems to go for.
Also bought a bottle of Nikka Yochi Grande which is limited only to Japanese airports. Seems to be worth the £60 RRP but sells for a lot more, so thinking of selling it.

If idiots are willing to pay 400 quid for a nas whisky bite their hand off. Get a couple of really nice scotches, take your partner to a banging restaurant and you'll still have 60 quid leftover.

Took me a while to understand that whisky. Perhaps Lagavulin 8 will be also up your alley!

I think I've asked this before, but I've a couple of bottles that would probably be wasted on me and I would rather get some coin for them than drink them just because they're there.
Would you just throw this on ebay (can you even sell booze on ebay?) or is there a whisky for sellz place I'd be better off going to?

There's whisky auctions or you can sell to places like the whisky exchange if you just want quick sell.

dibs.
i've never used one, but there are several specialist online whisky auctioneers e.g.
https://www.just-whisky.co.uk/content/7-how-to-sell-whiskyedit - too slow as usual!

“No foam on the logo!”
(Does that work for duvel the same as guinnness?)
-
• #4222
I would assume Belgian beers would have more foam than Irish.

• #4223
Whisky Exchange didn't want it but the https://whisky.auction auction place are keen and they're only 15min cycle from my place so I don't even have to piss about with wrapping and postage.
-
• #4224
Did whisky exchange say why, I'm guessing they maybe had a bottle or two of it already? Result with the auction place being so close, wrapping shit like that is always a ball ache.

"I’m afraid we are not currently looking to purchase this bottle. "
It's probably not well known enough, although it is a quite limited bottling. Who knows how they operate.
Yes! About a third of the way through the bottle, and it seems a little cloying to me. It sort of puts me in mind of Cognac, a bit of maple syrup going on. Don’t get me wrong, it’s rich and wonderful, but more dessert than main course.
