Imagine being in that bedroom and wanting to lie down, but not wanting to throw a full bed's worth of pillows onto the floor only to rearrange them later. That's what it's for.

Too late for the before and after? Not that the before was any cop anyway, but the resultant place (a 2 bed, just around the corner from me in Thornton Heath/Norbury) sold a year or so ago for £770k!!!!

TBH, I had never looked up the "before" until today as I rode past it and wondered what it was previously. I had assumed that the new build went straight onto the other house's side return/nicked a bit from the perpendicular garden to the right (near the end of the road/last house on that side of the street). Actually surprised at how much of it was there before and makes me a bit more sympathetic to how it look. Not completely, just a bit.
