Thanks for the second link. That confirms that I can make a personal contribution to a pension and include that in my adjusted net income on my self assessment and use it towards reclaiming personal allowance.
The first link is where I need help. I've already reviewed that but it's not clear (at least to me) if the employer pension contribution is included in my adjusted net income calculations. My employer contribution is obviously not part of my gross or net salary as my net salary is the gross salary minus the tax, national insurance and employee pension contribution so I'm assuming I wouldn't get relief but it's also clear a benefit which is included as part of the .gov link.
I think I need to find a financial advisor.
Anyone got any recommendations?
