  • I was at college at Long Road

Of course you were. You’re not the kind of nerd who would go to Hills Road.

  • Nah - Wife was at hills road.

I had neither the desire or application to bother with hills road. I was mostly smoking weed in the tree line by the hospital and avoiding lectures.

  • These are nice houses (we are round the corner), and it's a lovely neighbourhood. I think that was about the same amount of time we spent thinking.

  • What number is this?

While I'm not a massive fan of that one, big clear numbers that can easily be read from the road in all lighting conditions are a big help to the emergency services and could save a life.

  • if during that time, the report is delivered then I won't get my money back.

Not automatically from the bank, maybe (assuming this is being done under s75?)

Arguably, though, you have case under the consumer rights act, insofar as the service was not fit for purpose - timeliness is just as important of the report itself. You just might have to go the court route for that, or show a bit of teeth with your bank.

  • OMG. Samesies. Though I got better grades than Mrs Hefty so fuck you Hills Road.

There was a fenced off smokers’ area when I was there and a Rasta cleaner called Desmond who would hang out with us and cane it. Legend has it that before then there was an indoor smokers’ tower. Though I never saw it.

  • I dont understand this trend of trying to make houses look like're some kind new build.

The regs forces their hands to a certain extent. As does their imagination.

  • Is there a forum approved conveyancing solicitor?

  • I don't understand this trend of trying to make houses look like're some kind new build

I'm sure people on velocipede forums when the bottom one was built would have said they didn't understand the trend of trying to make houses look Tudor.

  • The same, but supersized.

Only in person do you get a sense of how dreadful it really is. And should you go inside it...

  • Jesus. How did that even get approved planning??

  • Is this an evangelical church?

  • Those steps!!!

  • They are all doing it wrong. You need to get the before hidden:

  • Hive mind, is there any nefarious reason for someone to paint a pvc-framed window frame?

  • Spot the cleaner's car...

  • Didn't that used to be a motorbike garage many many years ago?

I got one of my old bikes (Kawasaki AR 125) MOT'd there, I arrived at the collection time to be told "it was just getting an MOT at another garage and it'd be back in 10 mins". I sat outside, nothing came or went, and an MOT certificate was duly produced.

  • I was at Hills Road (92-94).

I had neither the desire or application to bother with hills road. I was mostly smoking weed in the tree line by the hospital and avoiding lectures.

Most friends went to Long Road (only about 8 of us from Comberton went to HRSFC, and about 60 to LRSFC) and I knew if I went to Long Road I'd get nothing done.

In the end I was mostly working at the Green Man in Trumpington rather than going to college.

  • The garage building is still there behind the house. 106 man is going to knock it down and build another house.

  • .

  • Welyn and Hatfield authority is an ambition free zone.

They gave up basically after years of folks moving in and ignoring them and doing whatever the fuck they liked.
