  • I like that. Sorry not sorry.

  • Looks better than all those other brown turds.

  • The second agent’s clear contempt for The Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 shocks me.

  • This is like those weird property before/after posts which are all over Instagram but they're nearly always better before. 'Contemporary refurb' starter pack options:

    1. So many horrible up/down lighters it's visible from the ISS
    2. American style-door not befitting property with massive vertical handle
    3. Acrylic/perspex door number like this
    4. Going right up to the edge on both sides of the plot so you can't get things into the garden without a crane (note your example has done that).

Basically the house equivalent of a Merc leasemobile. Sad that nice old tree got the chop.

  • Oh God I've just seen all the subsequent posts, going to have to wash my eyes out by looking at TMH for a bit.

  • Acrylic/perspex door number like this

That's not a number.... this is a number.

  • The white Evoque is obviously out dropping the kids off to nursery.

  • We've had an offer accepted. Pretty shocked at how easy it is to make a £x00,000, 30 year commitment to something that you've only spent half an hour looking at - an uncomfortable feeling for someone who can't decide on a set of bike tyres without making a spreadsheet. Fortunately for my sanity I don't think we massively overbid as there was another slightly higher offer, but the seller went with us as we were more flexible

I've read through the survey. Just looks fine to me but I'm 95% sure that's just because I don't have the faintest idea what I need to be concerned about

  • A game I like to play when I'm bored is search for 'number[1-99]' on Instagram and send the terrible before and afters of people home renovation accounts to user @spotter

  • Always Arial, always awful.

  • Are you @amey and is spotter me?

  • Ha i know that.

Ah no, it's not the one I thought it is.

  • Agreed.

Before and after for reference too. An Englishman's home is his castle etc. Assume they couldn't get planning permission for battlements....

  • Congrats that's lovely

  • There's more than one!?

    Here for reference.

  • Nail on the head with that list.

So many horrible up/down lighters it's visible from the ISS

For some reason blue is a popular colour for outside lights by us, there are a few houses that have put blue spot down lights all the way round the house in the eves. Looks like eiffel 65 lives there

  • What number is this?

  • Sounds like we need a support group...

  • Looks like eiffel 65 lives there

    Rep.

  • For some reason blue is a popular colour for outside lights by us

Good strategy for when you want to light your garden but remove any temptation to shoot up.

  • That particular number 106 is actually also this number 106:

    https://maps.app.goo.gl/dDmomwiLFCUucFxAA?g_st=ic

The person who lives at your 106 got it off my 106 when they got more modest with their 106 spec: https://maps.app.goo.gl/mCCuG5Yy8dZTiW5t8?g_st=ic

Bet you didn’t expect that level of 106 knowledge when you posted that.

  • Spotted on my evening stroll the other week....

  • Im sorry, Trumpington Medows?!

  • No, I thought it was in your town. As there was one similar but I remembered wrong.

  • Ha. That's mental. 10/10 stupid house number chat.

I was at college at Long Road eons ago and drove that road every day. Memories.
