I'd say that soldering those washers on is pure genius, I have strong feelings about looking for lost washers. Also really like the saddle refurb - gives me a good feeling someday my worn Flites can be given a new lease on life.

Echo above, the tiny cranks look fantastic and great work in recovering the Concor, super neat

Thanks 🙏
It's been a productive months, but the late hours and overall workload is wearing me down. Will be nice to have it culminate in Berlin next weekend.

Thanks everyone for the response. Makes it all worth it!
I am struggling finishing the last bits. My lathe not working makes things mega slow. Really hoping I can somehow magically get these cranks done so I have a full build for the show

Ah that's unfortunate.
But hey, without pedals the Berlin kids won't just ride away with it! -

Great paintjob, I love the fact that you put some sparkle in the mix

Frameset looks amazing! And hopefully you can get the cranks mounted even if incomplete as they look stunning already

What this means though is that now you have levelled up to sparkly starfish and an octopus, you can never level back down to a plain curry-coloured powder coat.
Thumbs up for the tiny yet perfectly formed child's bike seat which appears to be a thing that otherwise exists only in history now.
And the cranks.
