Vitus 979 - Gold anodised tube - Project - 60x58 - GONE

Selling this as a frame/fork and seatpost only, unless somebody wants to take some of the parts too.

Vitus 979 - this was used only as a TT bike in period, not used at all other than that, I'm the second owner.
Seat tube 60cm
Top tube 58cm
Suit somebody 6ft (minimum) to 6'2" approx

Frameset is in excellent condition - a few light storage marks. Tubes and lugs are otherwise perfect, no dents. Very straight. Original correct fork of course.
It rides really nicely, supremely comfortable. I just need something a bit shorter really.
I haven't cleaned this up to be honest, so the lugs will polish very easily and the anodised tubes are very good already.
With amazing condition free-spinning Campagnolo headset.
With Campagnolo 25mm seatpost, very nice item in itself.

This is a beauty, must be worth £130 to somebody.

I've got some MINT GP4 tubular wheels rims, like new, tubs hold air well, on campag hubs and aero spokes (not the tatty ones pictured), regina 6sp freewheel.
Campag chainset and Suntour Cycloneii front/rear derailleur, plus aero calipers (forget the model) and downtube shifters, cinelli bars and 120mm cinelli stem.
Usable but a bit tatty concor saddle
£250 total
Will just need chain, bartape and cables. And new tubulars if you feel like it.

This is a mad bargain, too big for me, otherwise I'd be knocking on your door. Stem is 3ttt btw, unless another one is to go with the build?

Interested in chainset and bb if you are going to sell them separately.

Yeah, the last picture is a bit misleading really, sorry - That won't be the stem, saddle, wheels or pedals.
For £250 it'll have 120mm cinelli stem, GP4 MINT-condition tubular wheelset with aero spokes (tubs are usuable for events or pub cruise I'd say), regina freewheel is TT ratios so do your stretches beforehand, Super record chainrings are 54/42 - chainset is pretty mint 170mm, Campag BB is silky, Concor saddle (tatty but nice enough) and no pedals
For £270 I'll include a new PC830 chain and new cable set.
