Like the look of these Everhot stoves a lot, much nicer than my awful electric radiators I currently have. Anyone got any experience with them?

They look nice I guess, but if you had to create an electric device to heat a room they wouldn't look like a stove.

But you can't put potatoes in a radiator...

No I'd put them in the oven ;)

We went to Imperial Marble and Granite in Catford today and decided on the bench top material. Went for the below Quartz one which is fairly inoffensive!

How terrible of an idea is replacing those plastic adjustable kitchen cabinet legs with wooden ones and leaving them on display (i.e. no toe-kick/plinth)?
We have bought a very cheap and fairly modern-looking B+Q kitchen and (late in the day) I am concerned it will look anachronistic. But I am also concerned that adding legs might make it look like I have some mid-century disease.

Mmm so much dust and filth collecting under there

This is why I wanted legs initially - to be able to clean under there. Somehow dust and filth accumulates under the cabinets even with a plinth. Isn't it worse that you can only clean under there once every 10-20 years?

That’s precisely why having cabinets on legs is a good idea so you can clean underneath

You should probably spend a week cobbling together a laser cut stainless worktop, tiny half sphere catering hand wash bowl, lusso stone bottle trap, stainless exhaust pipe parts and an eBay Vola tap.
