Edinburgh Gravel group

I thought I should share the Edinburgh Gravel WhatsApp group here. It was started by a couple of friends this time last year and has grown into a busy chat with loads of rides and mutual support.

Our staple is our Thursday evenings rides, leaving the Zoo at 6:30pm. We usually do 40-50km, no drop, usually heading west-ish, towards the Pentlands, Dalmeny and everywhere in between. It's loads of fun and a great way of exploring new routes and meeting friendly folks. The first one of the season is tomorrow 31st March.

People organise weekend rides and bikepacking trips from time to time too.

Where do the bikepacking/weekends usually go? Nosey fella up in Dundee here and would join if anything heads up Cairngorms/Perthshire/Aberdeenshire way

Would recommend lots of the stuff up here too, Glas Allt Shiel, Glen Tilt, Loch Quaich, Rannoch Pass, Ben Lawers Dam, Fortingall Folk
