Yeah complete waffle the lack of GPS encourages adventure? Just switching your computer off or leaving it at home would do that and for what one of these cost you could book a week long actual cycling adventure somewhere. I wonder if i can get a Garmin mount for one of these? Imagine all the freedom and adventure you would have

I remember the Forum Rides to some Irish pubs. Might even been on St Paddys day... Too pissed to remember if it was.
Damn those were some good rides - some of you might've even been on the rides.

I need to work out my speed over a kilometre today and the Speedo in my car is broken, luckily I have this.

Should probably have given/sold my 2024 build spot to someone.

Thanks, quite fun to have the 70s pair.
Tissot is too fresh for daily so they might make sense together. -

So much better without the stupid crown guard.

Don't understand why they don't still offer an all-black bezel option.
I don't think it was that popular until they stopped making it!
-
• #70614
Agreed, that bezel lock was just meh,
Yema website displaying alot of timepieces without it
-
• #70616
GMTs with both a rotating bezel and an internal scale (like many Seiko/GS GMTs) can track three time zones. The rest of your post, about not needing a watch, is somewhat redundant in this thread but thanks for making the effort.

Nah they’re right actually it turns out I don’t like the things I like just because they don’t ‘get’ them.

On a break in Velencia, happened to pass by, got to be the smallest store they have.
No queue, one staff member, one customer and one security guard pretty much put it at full capacity.
Asked about the Mercury and they brought it right out. When they opened the stock door to grab it, they had loads of different models out there from what I could see.
Maybe I got lucky on delivery day but I picked it up in the afternoon with no issues at all. If you're visiting, pop by.

It was the top pick for me and I actually quite like the strap as well but I think I'll try and find a rubber strap to put it on. Looked better than I thought it would in all honesty and seems to wear smaller than a 42mm, for my skinny wrists anyway.

• #70623
I picked up a couple of straps from Aliexpress and they work pretty well.
Got it on a Barton at the moment. It's way too sunny a vibe for this weather.

Looks good dude. I have spare black or grey Barton rubber straps gathering dust if you want, presuming 20mm lugs.

@Tenderloin Regarding Japan, I can’t help with shops but I will point out that they have a pretty decent vintage Rolex market over there and what with the £ Vs ¥ there might be a bargain.
In general the Japanese really take care of their possessions so condition should be way better than average too. Still a teensy bit of a mine field but you won’t find a more honest country to mitigate that risk.
Nice! Strong collection here today.
