Exactly. Companies often aren't in charge of who co-opts their clothing - that they won't do sponsored tie-ups with McKinsey doesn't mean that the same people won't buy them. I doubt patagonia had any intention of being the standard bearer of the midtown uniform

Maybe a silly price tag? Wealthy people love it

In case anyone missed it and is local, the rapha archive sale in southampton is fairly decent. Forgot to take photo of price list but 45 for jerseys/bibs, 19 for T-shirts (found a couple of merinos for this price) and 32 for trousers/shorts.

Does anyone know which jersey Katie is wearing at the start of this vid? Kind of dusty pink with textured sleeves and coloured zip garage collar.

Looks like the regular women's pro team jersey. Maybe not a current colour though
-
• #37733
I'd say an older Classic Flyweight jersey.

Probably that ^

The real tragedy is someone putting a Castelli saddle bag anywhere near a Cannondale. Is that red electrical tape on the bars?

Walmart style

Anyone use the brevet bar tape? Need new bar tape and thought added reflectiveness might be useful but not sure how it would look otherwise and how the grip is.
-
• #37739
It looks good and is grippy but isn't the most durable.

^this. Got this on one of my bikes - super comfortable but the durability is not great at all.

I have it and it does the job, however checking the web I think I have an older version and I’m not sure I’d pay £34 for it (Yes, I know, this is the nice but pricey thread, but it’s bar tape..)!

It is a lot for bar tape. The low key reflectiveness appealed to me as the summer roles in and I'm generally wearing less reflective stuff and going further. Spending double on tape doesn't worry me too much if the additional functionality is worthwhile. Still convincing myself though!

My lass is after a puffer jacket that would keep you warm at night, but would pack down into a bike packable size. It doesn't have to be Rapha, this jsut seems to be the clothing thread that gets the most traffic. Any suggestions welcome!

Albion Zoa insulated? Super toasty and packs down pretty small.

Budget? On the cheaper end - Decathlon down jacket. Probably my most used item of non-cycling clothing.

I use the patagonia nano puff. Packs real small and is very lightweight but is like a 7/10 warm when not cycling and like a 12/10 when being active.

Rab is the only UK company that will do repairs on their stuff at quite cheap rates, I have had my 2016 Xenon repaired by them 3 times. I tried to do the same with Arcteryx and they requested me to send it to their repair centre in Switzerland at my cost then they will assess the cost of repair etc. I was tempted to bin the jacket in front of their sales person. Not sure what its like for Patagonia.
No accesible repair = no buy

Its a no from me. It should literally be my uniform as I work in tech. Sad.
