Tried on the 34mm when I went to Greece last year as they actually had one available. Thought it wore smaller because of the thinner current design compared to the previous generation. Kinda wish I'd just bought it now, 24% off, two price hikes since but just want a black 36mm and didn't want my first Rolex to be just an excuse to sell, even though the person that purchased it shortly after me probably did just that.

Makes sense though! It's still and lot of money especially if it's not exactly the one you want.

I think this is exactly what happens. A friend of mine was able to get a Rolex Sub at retail with zero wait at the height of the mania a couple of years ago.

He bought a Breitling and something else and magically the sub was available with no wait 🤷.

Challenge is finding a couple of other watches that I want, that would unlock the GMT.

Joe's very kind offer is probably the most effective route forward, but I'll have a think about the ex-demo Cayenne turbo thing.

Accidentally went out without a watch on last night. Felt quite perturbed and uncanny. Spoilt my evening.

Dear ChatGTP plz write some generic marketing wank in the style of radavist to justify my affectation of an analogue bike computer.

My Omata analog bike computer was the change I needed. The lack of a GPS-enabled map encourages adventure. It has allowed me to track the necessities, so I can focus more on just riding to have fun.
