I've not ridden any further than Borg in Germany on this route but...

Routed it through the city and into the river valley as there's a bike/walking road there and a lot of the areas in the city and around it are under a LOT of construction so it can be hard to navigate, dangerous or both. Don't get me wrong, not London-dangerous but enough that it's not worth riding in some places.

Lovely, thank you. Quick look at OSM Cycle suggests I can route it onto some little lanes and dirt roads. I've been editing this route here; it must go to the Baumwipfelpfad Saarschleife.
Maybe May but weddings/ stags confusing my plans.
