That aircraft is also taking off rather than landing, which it obviously wouldn't be doing in a damaged condition.

Last few seconds of the video clearly show a bent prop. Guessing the weight of fuel hitting the prop bent it.

What's going on when a helicopter flies overhead & doesn't appear on the website?

ADS-B Exchange collects ADS-B data and Mode S multilateration from aircraft equipped with Mode S transponders, which is basically all IFR aircraft and a growing proportion of light aircraft. However, there are plenty of remaining light aircraft (including helicopters) which still use old Mode A/C transponders, and they won’t show up on ADS-B Exchange, FR24 etc.

This looks like classic pushing-the-boundaries fuckery. Guessing they were mostly just trolling the drone by doing these 19 passes and fuel dumps, rather than actually shooting at it. Russia gets to claim that no live fire was used, too.

Classic in the sense of being what everybody does all the time. The Russians have always been much more reckless in both the challenge and response rôles. Nobody will be escalating anything over this incident, out of which the Russians emerge looking both weak and foolish.

Was in Wanstead earlier when all the planes went over. Hadn’t seen F35s before so that was something new.
The Lancaster and C17 were cooler tho.

Has to be the most over the top birthday celebration especially coming from a king who claims to be an advocate for the environment.
