    Can be bothered to list thousands of records, but all at insane prices. Couple things he’s selling on my want list are literally priced 100 times higher than other seller. Has he just listed his entire collection at those prices in the hope some idiot buys one here and there?

  • A lot of them are Russian, so I'm saying money laundering, on the basis of not understanding how money laundering might really work here.

    Or he's just looking for somewhere to catalogue his collection online and showcase his great music taste for free, without having to actually lose any of the collection.

    But probably money laundering.

  • I think it's more likely they don't want to sell the records but will for a certain (ridiculously high) price. I've got one or 2 for sale on Discogs that have a comment similar to 'don't want to sell but will at this price'.

    The discogs name 'Not For Sale' is a bit of a clue.

    Feedback is pretty poor though and suggests they're a chancer with no idea of proper grading.
