He bought a set of 55cm alloy handlebars from Amazon. He then had a friend cut them down to 25cm across the tops and weld them back together.
The chap guy who wrote the article said Rane's a very entertaining guy who really knows his (speciality) onions.

I like that this design choice guarantees that either your top tube or your fork is covered in a Hungarian flag.
