Neat. I recognise the atmospheric sounds behind the vocal sample in that but can't find the track.
-
• #354
The vocal was used on a popular Drum and bass track that I'll have to find now but i guess that's not the one your thinking of?
-
• #355
Almost certainly not.
This just started playing and I was hoping it would stop me looking for that sample, but now you had to go and mention it again...

(I've no idea if acid, but it fits my commentary)Nah, can't be unawered. Sorry Drift

Ooh I think I might know where to find it

Fucking brainworms my knowledge is meant to be increasing but my memory is getting worse. I know it's not this one but had to find it anyway

Found it
Only problem is it's in a DJ Set from 30 years ago. Fucking pretty good memory though :)

Quick work 👍 sounds like quite a good mix

I've probably listened to it hundreds of times over the years which is the only reason I could find such a vague sample so fast. I ripped it to tape and then years later to mp3 and I found some of these soundcloud sets which have IDs as well as bits I didn't record.

I'll listen to the whole set when I get a chance it sounds just on the right side of Donk for me
-
• #364
Fucking hell, that tune that drops at about 3m35s. Just had the whole kitchen shaking when I cranked that up.
-
• #365
Original qualifies for this thread too
-
• #366
Which one are you talking about? Posted too much shit now :D
-
• #367
Track 9 is great we need a Gabber thread
-
• #368
The one in the 'dunny set' (as you would call it!!)
-
• #369
It's hard enough keeping up with the Acid and Rave threads.
This is where the vocal is from, in case anyone is still awake.
-
• #370
Ah shit I'd forgotten about that already.
"Life moves pretty fast"
Which tracks samples that from Ferris Bueller's Day Off? :)
-
• #371
Gabber in the Rave or Techno thread?
-
• #372
Depends on how moany the purists are.
For me the rave thread is a catch-all.
Rave music for me is something I heard in a field somewhere. I have been to raves that have played deep house or industrial techno or happy hardcore, or jungle or....Edit: I am sure there is space for a gabber thread
-
• #373
Expect some heavy shit coming your way in the Rave thread then 😁
-
• #374
I'd say Rave. There's very little crossover with techno but lots of hardcore ravers might dabbled in the gabberz :D
-
• #375
The other problem with have multiple threads is people classify tunes into ever smaller and smaller sub-genres...
