@user67526 I went with the Vema Tiber taps that @Tenderloin mentioned. Went for surface mount with the sink and same range for shower - I changed the head to a stainless steel crosswater though as the shower head was a weird skinny pencil thing.
I rate the quality but then I think my standards are pretty basic. It's a tap, its look good and it was ok value so ticked all the boxes for me.
Came direct from our bathroom fitter's supplier so he charged me trade prices (forwarded me the supplier invoice). Think it was about £150+ VAT

I'm loving the look of Vola taps for my Kitchen but can't really ever justify spending £900 on a tap. Is there any brands I should look for that are there with the quality and functionality but half the price?
