• I'm loving the look of Vola taps for my Kitchen but can't really ever justify spending £900 on a tap. Is there any brands I should look for that are there with the quality and functionality but half the price?

  • Crosswater stuff is well made and looks nice.
I've been impressed with finishing of Lusso Stone stuff but can't speak to quality long term.
I mentioned a brand called Vema which I think @andos and @chrisbmx116 bought some bits from. I'd seen them in a hotel room and they felt well made.

  • we bought crosswater taps and shower etc but the victoria plumb brushed brass bog roll holder for 1/3 of the price is of similar quality.
you could probably get something cast in solid bronze in birmingham/sheffield for mega money but it’s unlikely to look much different just need bigger fixings for the heft.

  • Yep!

It was Vema tibre, pretty much replicas of Arte Forme or Vola scale wise (slightly smaller than Crosswater and Lussostone).

They claim to be Italian made but are almost defo not, although they do have an office there (EC1 Bathrooms did some digging while I was in there once and the Crosswater rep had seen it).

Look nice, and v similar to ones 4 times the price, can't comment on mechanical quality, but since child and cozzie livvie im on the povo train so needs must.
