Fans and friends, I need some advice.
I have the 53/39 spiderings currently setup.
I’m heading to do Fred Witton in a few months and I believe my terrible ability to go ‘up’ will be flattered by having a smaller chainring.
Question is: what compatible chain sets can I install to get like a 50t big ring?
-
• #15832
Use this spider with 5 arm chainrings of your choice
https://www.westbrookcycles.co.uk/hollowgram_spider_(5_arm_110mm_bcd)-13884
Or just buy 50/34 spiderings?

Brain malfunction!
I was searching on eBay for said spiderings but not googles.
The most simple answer is usually the best…..I will pip for spiderings 50/34.

This is described as ‘integrated’. These bikes are shite.

I don't get how the base model is $5500 in his vid, but on Sigma it's £6250

I don't get how bikes got so expensive or how we became just really poor

If one's Hollowgram Knot wheels had bearings that sounded like a howling banshee...is it relatively straightforward to take them apart to try to ID the bearings?

In the UK there is a version with 105 Di2. This is priced at £4250 (about $5000). This model is not listed on the US version of the website. The two highest models are priced as you would expect from a simple currency conversion; it is only the lower models that are priced "strangely". However, this pricing seems consistent with economic theory on price discrimination: the existence of a lower base model in the UK would make it optimal to raise the prices of the higher level models (particularly the second highest UK model).
(Another explanation might be cost differences that are somehow relevant for the models lower than the top tier.)

I’m thinking of finally upgrading my cockpit setup. I was thinking of an integrated stem / bar combo, but I only think it’s worth it if cables can be routed internally. Does anyone know if they can on a 2018 SS Evo?
EDIT: if integrated cockpit isn’t gonna fly, it is worth getting aero bars ?

Hey @kjlem, And any other critiques ;-)
The image I’ve posted is only to represent the frame model.
Since this photo was taken, I’ve had a bike fit and have all the setting out dialled in.
I’m only after if it’s possible to do internal cable routing on this frame.
Soz for the misleading image, I don’t have a current one.

If you are comfortable drilling your forks, yes.
This generation of disc frame didn't plan on having the hoses to run inside/next to the headset bearings.I might be wrong of course

No way Jose!
I wouldn’t drill the frame!
It’s it’s not compatible then it’s case closed.
Aero bars and stem it is!

Looks great and practical. Tho those ritchey cages are pretty bling.
Has anyone got some pictures with silver finishing kit on a Cannondale roadie? Trying to figure out which colours/styles does it go nicely with and cannot imagine in my head so looking for inspiration
