If you still haven't given it a go, please do. It's 4 months later for me and I still think about Part II. I see it as more of a masterpiece than before even.
Listened to a 5h video essay on the game the other day at work and I still get emotional over the game. Can't get tired of it. Still watch playthroughs and cut scenes on youtube every now and then
I watched playthroughs of both Last of Us games on youtube because of the tv show and it was such an incredible experience I'm still thinking about it 2 weeks later. I'm constantly watching videos of the 2nd game on youtube. The museum spaceship scene is such a beautiful moment, I've watched it dozens of times and still get teary-eyed.
I just ordered a new graphics card and CPU so I can play the first one when it comes out at the end of the month on PC. I haven't played a new game since the late 00s/early 10s but this really made me want to try out what's out there.
I've also been recommended God of War, RDR2 and Horizon Zero Dawn now that I'll be able to run newer games. Any other recommendations for recent single player story driven games that I might have missed out on this whole time?
